reflecting on your blog

early in the year, i learned the importance ofmusic and acting. you can see that in my first film, i didnt do this especially in the scene when i am talking with cody into the camera and i wasnt even looking into the camera. on my second project, i learned how to do better camera angles.a scene that shows this well is in my film called keeping up with michael and damon, when the whole entire time we use over the shoulder shots. later in the year, i showed that i had learned that concept well, since i showed this in other projects. one good exaple is from the values video. in all the scenes we are using different camera angles and it really adds to the videos feel of akwardness. something that i learned about making videos is that you got to think of alot of different ideas. you got to record alot of different stuff also. you have to get alot of material to work with because u never know when ur gonna need something for your video. its better to have too much than not enough i think. so when you record you got to get alot of clips to work with. you also have to be willing to put in some time. in my last video i really put alot of extra time in it so i hope this project pays off for me in the end. i have alot of good feelings about it and i really enjoyed making this video it was the most fun i had all year. making music and videos is awesomeee.

1) What value are you trying to represent? We are trying to represent courage and honesty. 2) What do you think your group has done well? I think our group has done a really great job at working hard and taking care of the jobs that are assigned to them. 3) What do you still need to complete? We still need to add in music, titles, credits, and editing. 4) What are you most in need of feedback about? We want to know if our video runs smoothly,or if we should add some more scenes to it. it seems to me a little too short. 5) We filmed during two days. The first day was successful, and our camera worked well. The second day, when we tried to use a different camera, the camera wouldn't film. We had to quickly go get another camera to film with, and successfullly finished filming that day. Another issue we had was that after we edited our rough draft, it wouldn't upload onto youtube and our blog. When we finally got it uploaded, the screen of the film was very small. It was because of a format setting we had done the wrong way.

1. we really didnt set up anythimg besides the height of the camera and the focus on the subjects. next time we need to focus on following the rule of thirds.
2.i did not fallow the rule because i forgot about using it the day we were shooting.
3.it gives you the impression of it is an intense conversation and the topic the are speaking about is important.
4.it didnt seem that real because we didnt even write the script and mineand mikeys acting is pretty awkward....
5.or mood or tone is akward and humerous... because me and mikey are the funniest people in northern california.
6.you have to get a little piece of the persons head that you are shooting over or its not legit.
7.whenever you have an important conversation taking place you can use this camera shot.
